GLEN TONNESSEN, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Tonnessen is a cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. He completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine at Seton Hall University where he was Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Tonnessen is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. He is the founder of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Hunterdon Medical Center.
Dr. Tonnessen enjoys cooking and skiing, as well as traveling with his wife and two daughters. He is the Managing Physician of Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates.
LADAN ABBASI, APN, NP
Ladan Abbasi attended Shiraz University in Shiraz, Iran, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1995. An advocate for continuing education, Ladan went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2014 from William Paterson University and is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Ladan was recognized as a Top Nurse Practitioner from the International Nurses Association.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and development in the Vascular and Aesthetic fields, Ladan maintains professional membership with the American College of Phlebology and Empire Medical Training. She is highly skilled and experienced in performing vascular procedures including Ambulatory Phlebectomy and Sclerotherapy. In addition, she is highly skilled and experienced in dermal facial injectables, laser, and aesthetic procedures.
Based on her performance results and patient’s reviews, her treatment success has been highly rated. She attributes her success to being ambitious and passionate about what she does.
